Altitude Sports tours were absolutely fantastic from the moment we booked until we arrived back in the UK. The price of the trip was very competitive compared to others quotes from other companies. The support we received prior to the trip was second to none. The whole process was made very simple throughout and any issues were or queries were dealt with swiftly, efficiently and in a friendly manner. Once in resort the support continued to be excellent.

The in resort reps were really friendly, supportive and extremely knowledgeable about the resort and the local area. Advice on how to deal with medical issues through the week and the best way to receive treatment was really invaluable. They were there to support any issues throughout the week and helped us to get to know the resort really well. We could not have asked for better in resort support. The standard of the hotel was outstanding. Montivas Lodge were very accommodating and breakfast was a highlight of the day. Food in general was so good by far the best we have had as a school on any previous ski trip. The après ski choice was excellent, with a good variety, at a reasonable price.

Overall, fantastic service throughout the whole process of booking the trip to the actual trip itself. I cannot recommend them enough and we have already signed up to go back again next year. Thanks from everyone at Ferryhill School, see you in 2026!!

From start to finish, Altitudes service was exceptional. The pre-trip support from John was truly outstanding—every question I had was answered quickly and thoroughly. The team was always at the end of the phone, ready to assist with any concerns, and they went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The price point was also very competitive.

Once I arrived at the resort, the experience only got better. The in-resort reps Steve, John, Harriett and Paul were absolutely amazing—friendly, approachable, and always available to help with anything. They were dedicated to making our trip seamless, handling any issues that came up with grace and efficiency. It was clear they genuinely cared about the guests and were willing to do whatever it took to ensure we had the best possible experience. Our hotel Primula was excellent, the food was endless with three courses and a huge portion of pasta… for starters! Truly unlike any other school ski trip food we had experienced.

Altitude Sports Tours organised our first ski trip to Livigno, Italy. From the early stages of planning and throughout our stay, Altitude Sports Tours provided an outstanding experience; lines of communication were great and AST were always quick and effective in dealing with questions. AST’s choice of resort was perfect – Livigno is a beautiful resort and very well suited to school groups; we had the best set of instructors we have ever worked with in the 15 years of running ski trips – they were incredibly supportive, cheery and highly experienced. The ski school organised a race day which was the highlight of the week for many students – skiing on a slalom course, we were treated to an ongoing race commentary and culminated with a big presentation (which included a podium, trophies and medals).  The food was amazing – lunches were based at a traditional Italian resort and the pizzas were a big hit! Ski fit wa​s very slick and untilised high quality equipment.
